Camp OPP, Inc. was founded in the Fall of 2014 by a Fourth Grade Teacher, Julie Ranson. After taking her class camping for 10 years at no cost to the families, she decided this experience must be given to more children regardless of their socio-economic status. With the use of funds she was awarded, upon receiving the Indiana University Armstrong Educator Award, she decided to invest the money to impact more lives and create a 501 c 3 non-profit organization. Camp OPP's mission is to is to provide funding so underprivileged children can be afforded the opportunity to excel outside of their boundaries through an outdoor educational camping experience.
